IIFA – International Indian Film Academy is a non-governmental organization and nothing to do with the Indian diplomatic policies, but, certainly an Indian mask to hide the remains of Lankan massacre. The soul executor of IIFA is WIZCRAFT, a leading event management company in India which clearly mentioned that there is no change in its schedule for the award ceremony. We don’t have any issues and concern with IIFA and “WIZCRAFT” other than its chosen venue for the festival. Colombo will be the venue for the upcoming festival on June 2010, whereas the same Colombo is the capitol of genocide in modern days of Asia. Indian investors and film makers are having a great desire of being a part in this modern genocide by participating and conducting the IIFA festival at Colombo followed by fashion shows and business promotions of Indian Industrialists.

While the entire global community started condemning and blaming Srilanka and its leaders as war criminals, India, which claims itself as a largest democratic country in the world, is continuing the support for its unofficial state called Srilanka. When the whole world asked to stop shelling in the civilians area, India and its external affairs ministry helped srilanka to morally encourage it’s killings by supplying the most dangerous lethal weapons in the name of regional safety and act against terrorism.

Now, the brand ambassador for IIFA and a well known actor of Indian films, Amithab Bachan is reconsidering his decision to participate or not in this festival, after facing an unexpected protest in front of his house at Mumbai, Amithab has been forced to take a back step on his move. After the incident took place, he stated on his private blog that, “He respect the sentiments of any community”. The protest was organized by “Naam Thamizhar” and other Tamil organizations in Mumbai.  Meanwhile, Rajini Kanth, who is one of the giant south Indian actor have played and keep doing a key roll to stop Amithab family at Colombo festival. But, in the other side, the ultimate aspire of this protest is not stopping Amithab’s presence at this function or anybody else rather than dislodging the venue from Colombo. The strong message behind this protest is not only the mind set of Mumbai Tamils. Instead it’s the one and only deplorable feeling of global Tamils.

Srilanka and its leaders are having only two choices to escape and defend their past goof called massacre of Tamils. The first one is to complete all possible democratic elections in srilanka; Of course, they have successfully coiffed it by using all their power and forces. The second one is to conduct international festivals as they will deviate and dilute the international media attraction towards their genocide in the name of war against terrorism. Almost, this IIFA festival is a cardinal diplomatic move by the Srilankan think tank to wipe out the bloody scar on its face. This will change the way of both print and visual media’s drudged work towards digging out the truth called massacre.

Before going very deep into this issue, we should know the recent history of srilanka and its war crimes. Exactly a year before, srilanka have killed around 1,50,000 innocent lives in the name of fighting against LTTE. Srilanka and its army killed even infants, women, who were carrying, old age people, by using internationally banned weapons like artillery bombs and also chemical gases. None were there to save the innocent people of vanni region and they were trapped in and around of 200 meters of the island. UN the only authority to react on this kind of situations became a silent spectator because of the morale support shown by china and India in the region.

The history of Tamils in srilanka is much transparent in the modern world. We are the ethnic natives who are struggling and fighting against the oppression by the majority Sinhalese. The proven records of srilanka clearly describes Tamils are having a long race in the island. Unfortunately, we have lost the identity and also the dignity in the name of colonial governance. While leaving the island, British have made a blender mistake as the same they have made in Indian union. Uniting different social ethnic culture and its content is the most dangerous part of modern world. We are not against the process of uniting the boundaries and spread as a social global human community. We understand and accept the truth behind this conception of being global human. But we should  always defend the rights of being with our own linguistic, cultural and social identity. The person who understand about the greatness of his own language, culture and social values never allow any other sources to destroy the same. As, we know our tradition and culture loves this entire universe, we have no doubts and hesitations to be a Tamilian in this modern world even the world becomes a village.

In the name of regional safety and Indian sovereignty the Gandhi’s nation supported srilanka to kill its own citizens. In the name of religious and other business benefits china started supporting srilanka without considering the innocent people’s squall. Lord Patton the current chancellor of Oxford University quoted very recently in New York Times as follows "UN was paralyzed when political and diplomatic intervention was required to protect Tamil civilians in the Lankan government’s campaign to wipe out the liberation tigers of Tamil eelam,”. The reason behind its paralytic condition is nothing but the factors like India and china.

Now, the task in front of us is to move the IIFA festival into some other place, not against the Indian actors, the danger in keep focusing energy levels against Indian actors have been already given us a negative result of shrunken the wide target into stopping actors. Our young people, particularly living in Europe countries should plan a mass attractive campaign against this event. That will definitely change the face of this protest into a positive note. The think tank of srilanka will be keen on diverting the core attraction of cruel massacre into dance and fest. We should be much aware of this ideology and rivet our entire energy against this ideology.

This is the very crucial time in the history, where we are being tested by most of the outsources, i request and expect our youngsters to keep move towards the cause, take this loss as an advantage of our entire ethnic community and language and move on and on. The real power of being a prideful tamilian is never quit from the struggle. We have started this cause for very genuine reasons, we have been keep distressed and traversed in the history of this small island. May be the struggle have turned its face into a different direction once physically the war was over. But, the desire of being a dignified human is the induction of any war in this world. We have just lost a battle not an entire war. Feeling against the dominants itself a war. We feel, we stand and we always ensure our children as the most ennobled in this modern world.

We might have lost our people, land, life and safety. But, we never lost The Faith, The Language, The Courage, The Confidence, The Values, The Love and most importantly we never loose our memories.

STAND AGAINST IIFA AND CHANGE IT’S VENUE ATLEAST VIRTUALLY.
